Beware! This is a blog hop of haunted houses where Halloween fright is glowing in the windows as ghosts and witches fly through the air…
Please join us and hop along starting with Jearise our hostess. She has provided some Halloween blog candy for all those that leave comments along the way. The drawing will be on October 6th using Random.org. The winner will receive: K & Company Ghostly Greetings 12 x 12 paper pack, Stickles distress glitter glue pack, and EK Sticko’s haunted house sticker pack.
If you have traveled from Janet’s page, then you are on the right road and will continue over to Lisa’s page. If you got lost and found yourself on my doorstep by mistake, you can head to the beginning of the road here: Jearise’s blog!

Now, for my Haunted House Project! I was so excited to create a Haunted House. I wanted to challenge myself & do something other than a card or scrapbook layout. I’m not dissing on my fellow hoppers if they happen to do either of those but I needed a challenge…..so this is what I created!
I made a 3D Haunted House by recycling an oatmeal box (those with the individually wrapped oatmeal packs)for the first story of the house, a skinnier box that had snack bars for the second story of the house & 2 single serving cereal boxes for the sides of the first floor. I then added the roof awnings by attaching them with foam board that I inked to make it look like weathered columns. Let’s look at some close ups!
Here is another close up using my flash on my camera. You can see that the second floor has a nice iron balcony. I “blinged” it up with lime green stones for the tips of the iron-works. Then added some black stones along the center line of the iron-works. You can see my skeleton & googlie eyes on the first floor.
What I love best are my Trick or Treaters who will be attempting to get some candy from this Haunted House. I guess they don’t notice the cobwebs or ghosts that linger on this spooky place.
Seems like the house may have been taken over by spiders as well! If it was me I would RUN!! I HATE SPIDERS – they are too spooky for me!
Here are close-ups of my Trick or Treaters! I don’t know if you can see but it looks like there is a face looking at passer-byers in those long windows! Can you see them? I think they can see YOU……….
Here’s my dancing skeleton & invisible guest with his googlie eyes! Oh & more cobwebs….dang those spiders!
Well, thanks for stopping by…..hope my house wasn’t too scary & keeps you from continuing! There are a lot of great talented ladies here & their work needs to be seen. So hop on over to Lisa’s blog & HAVE A GREAT, SAFE & FUN-FILLED HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
